We accept most major insurance plans. For your convenience, we will file and accept payment from your primary insurance plan as partial payment. Our office will contact your insurance company to determine an ESTIMATE of the amount they will reimburse. If your insurance company pays on a lower fee schedule than our fee, you will be responsible at the time of service for the difference. The out-of-pocket expense for most insured patients is typically comparable to a 'participating provider' office. Once your insurance company reimburses our office for the treatment rendered, if there is any outstanding balance we will send you a bill. Of course, if there is an overpayment, we will promptly send you a refund.
Accounts will become your responsibility 30 days from the date of treatment, if your insurance company fails to reimburse our office in a timely manner. Patient accounts more than 30 days past due will be forwarded to collections.
If your insurance company will not assign reimbursement to our office, then fees will be due at the time of service. Your insurance company will then send you the reimbursement due for your treatment. In treatment that involves multiple appointments, payments may be divided among visits. However, all services must be paid in full at the completion of treatment.
Dental insurance coverage has become more complex due to the vast number of dental plans and the range of benefits each plan provides. Some plans may cover certain dental procedures, while others may not. We will work closely with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement.
